Misty Trees

This garden scene gives me such a feeling of serenity. The criss-crossed lines on the tiles and shadows add just enough of a dynamic feel to stop the photo becoming snore of the year!

Golden Waves - Calm
The fading sun lit these waves in Lake Michigan. I had just a couple of minutes with the water bathed in this light so I had to work fast. This photograph shows the water washing back and has a gentle, calming feel in contrast to the photo on the right.

A few seconds later the same water has a more
