Where to See Us || 3 Easy Ways to Buy
US Bank Beacon
Like all of the photos on this site, the colors here are as they came out of the camera. One misty morning a shaft of sunlight reflected off the US Bank building in downtown Milwaukee. The reflection and the diffusion of the mist cause this spectacular phenomenon. The building seemed to project itself outwards. This is a photo you have to come to see! Or buy, of course ;-}

The Old and the New
Milwaukee's Northwestern Mutual columns are almost dwarfed by the newer architecture of the US building - a skyscraper compared to the NM building. You can see that this photo was taken to show that both old and new architecture styles are designed to use strong vertical lines.

Cathedral Square Condominiums
The latest addition to Milwaukee's cathedral Square is this magnificent modern building - the Cathedral Square condos reflecting perfect clouds. This photo is given a sense of scale by the window washer against the building. Can you see him? |

Skywalk
One of Milwaukee's downtown skywalks juts out of a beautiful old building. The solitary figure walking across shows scale and adds an air of mystery. |
Guards
Stone guards look out from a downtown Milwaukee building. I used the composition to enhance the feeling of strength and vigilance by having a focal point for their gaze near the center of the picture and allowing the statues themselves about a third of the frame. The branches draw the eye back to their focal point and thus enhance this effect.
